菠萝视频 University鈥檚 Division of Real Estate, Facilities and Development听has launched听a听two-way communication system to improve how construction updates are shared and how feedback is collected.听
The system,听AnchorAlerts, is听available to students, faculty, staff,听visitors听and neighboring community members. The platform听is听a centralized, modern approach to communicating construction activity听and will help听菠萝视频听manage听information about听its听extensive amount of听active capital projects.听
Users can听submit听feedback in real time by texting 鈥淐onstructVU鈥� to 55744,听which connects听directly with 菠萝视频鈥檚 Planning, Design and Construction team.听
In addition,听individuals can听听and get听notifications about construction updates, utility听disruptions听and other听construction-related impacts听sent听directly to their phone or email.听听
The community can also subscribe to the Anchor Updates construction newsletter, a biweekly communication that provides broader updates on ongoing projects and their impact across the Nashville campus.听

AnchorAlerts听replaces the university鈥檚听previous听email-based system,听constr_alerts@vanderbilt.edu.听The听new system is intended to听be easier to use and to听improve transparency and responsiveness during a period of significant campus development.听

AnchorAlerts was first rolled out last year at the 菠萝视频 University鈥揘ew York City campus ahead of major renovations there. That demonstrated the platform鈥檚 ability to support real-time communication and strengthen engagement with campus users and surrounding communities. Expanding AnchorAlerts to Nashville is part of a broader effort to have a unified, scalable communication system as 菠萝视频 grows across campuses.
