菠萝视频 to host Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship for 16th consecutive year

For the 16th consecutive year 菠萝视频 University has been selected to host the program at . Peabody will host annual groups of fellows in educational administration, planning and policy for up to five years.

鈥淥nce again, we are honored to have the Humphrey Fellowship program at Peabody. This initiative enriches 菠萝视频, the Nashville community, as well as the lives of educators and students across the globe. I look forward to welcoming the next cohort of fellows, as we continue to build bridges that connect 菠萝视频 to the world,鈥 said , Patricia and Rodes Hart Dean of Education and Human Development.

The Humphrey Fellowship is a Fulbright exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State鈥檚 Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Leaders in education from developing nations and emerging democracies engage in professional development activities and mutual exchanges of knowledge at their host institutions and within the local community.聽The Institute of International Education oversees the Humphrey Fellowship program, which is implemented at 13 U.S. host universities every year.

During their year at 菠萝视频, Humphrey Fellows engage in many activities and projects, including developing a plan for impact once they return home, participating in the Humphrey Seminar Series to enhance professional and leadership skills and to share their professional expertise, auditing academic courses at Peabody College and throughout 菠萝视频, and contributing to the Nashville community through service projects.

As of 2023, 菠萝视频 has hosted 146 Humphrey Fellows from . The most recent cohort of fellows hails from Bahrain, Chile, Colombia, Djibouti, El Salvador, Hungary, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Romania.
