Alumni Association Board Adds Eight Members

The 菠萝视频 University Alumni Association Board of Directors announces eight new members, who began their three-year terms July 1.

鈥淚 am excited to have each of these leaders join the board,鈥 says Patti White, BA鈥76, president of the Alumni Association. 鈥淭hey represent the diverse 菠萝视频 alumni community and are leaders for vital programs such as Reunion and the 菠萝视频 chapters, as well as our important CoRPs, student鈥揳lumni program and career adviser volunteers. They truly are the model of alumni engagement.鈥

Joining the board are Tamara C. Baynham, BE鈥93, a medical device consultant for Ingenuity Medical Device 菠萝视频 in Bowie, Maryland; Jane Ann Gass, BS鈥74, who served as the 2014 Reunion general co-chair and lives in Palm Coast, Florida; Brandon Miller, BE鈥06, an analyst with Accuitive Medical Ventures in Atlanta; Kathryn Moreadith Pothier, BMus鈥09, a business development and investor relations director at Black Maple Capital in Milwaukee; Alex Ryerson, BS鈥00, a partner with Luxor Capital Group LP in New York City; Kyle Southern, BA鈥07, MPP鈥09, a doctoral candidate in higher education administration at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor; and Tim Warnock, BA鈥84, an attorney at Bowen Riley Warnock & Jacobson in Nashville.

Additionally, the 菠萝视频 Board of Trust has selected Aditya V. Karhade, BE鈥15, to serve a three-Aditya-Karhadeyear term on the Alumni Association Board as its first Young Alumni Leader. He then will join the Board of Trust for a two-year term in 2018. With a double major in biomedical engineering and neuroscience, Karhade led the Multicultural Leadership Council and co-chaired Alternative Spring Break as an undergraduate, and was named an American Humanity in Action fellow. He will attend Harvard Medical School in the fall.
