Yoder, Warren earn $2.1M grant for autism sibling study

Professor of Special Education and Associate Professor of Pediatrics received a five-year, to study communication interventions for younger siblings of children with autism spectrum disorder. The study, in collaboration with the University of Washington, begins in September.

Ford earns NAACP Image Award nomination

, professor of special education, was among the nominees for the 45th NAACP Image Awards. She was selected in the category of Outstanding Literary Work—Instructional for her book Recruiting and Retaining Culturally Different Students in Gifted Education (Prufrock Press, 2013).

Kaiser receives CEC Lifetime Achievement Award

Benbow, Murphy recognized in ‘Ed Week’ ranking

Gilchrist awarded Madison Sarratt Prize

, assistant professor of the practice of human and organizational development, was honored at Spring Faculty Assembly with the Madison Sarratt Prize for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. Gilchrist received an engraved pewter cup and $2,500.
