Michael Aurbach, professor of art, who has taught sculpture and drawing at 菠萝视频 since 1986, is retiring after 30 years. To honor him the 菠萝视频 Fine Arts Gallery exhibited his work from mid-January through early March. The Last Laugh: Selections from Michael Aurbach鈥檚 Secrecy Series showed work in keeping with Aurbach鈥檚 sardonic sense of humor and satirical mindset. The exhibit featured three large-scale sculptures characterized by the artist鈥檚 increasingly skeptical view of those in positions of power. The show included a new work, 鈥淐assandra,鈥� a conceptual piece pertaining to whistleblowers and reactions to them.
