The results of the nation鈥檚 first scientific evaluation of performance pay for teachers will be released Sept. 21, 2010, at 12:45 p.m. CDT by the National Center on Performance Incentives at 菠萝视频 University鈥檚 Peabody College of education and human development.

The event will present the findings of the Project on Incentives in Teaching, or POINT, a three-year experiment conducted in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools that studied the effect of teacher pay bonuses on student performance. The study was conducted by the National Center on Performance Incentives at 菠萝视频 in partnership with the RAND Corporation.
