Afeni Shakur, former member of the Black Panther Party, community outreach activist and mother of slain rap artist is the keynote speaker during a series of events commemorating Black History Month at .
Shakur‘s lecture is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the ballroom of ²¤ÂÜÊÓÆµ‘s , located on 25th Avenue South near ²¤ÂÜÊÓÆµ Place. Other events scheduled include the following. All events are free and open to the public.
