²¤ÂÜÊÓƵ and the will hold an information session Thursday, Nov. 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. regarding how to apply for an annual tuition sponsorship of an area nonprofit executive to attend the ²¤ÂÜÊÓƵ Executive MBA (EMBA) program.

The Owen Graduate School of Management first offered the nonprofit tuition sponsorship, worth approximately $78,000, in 2005 to recognize and reward the contribution that nonprofits make to the local community. The first recipient of the sponsorship, vice president Robyn Minton, entered the 21-month EMBA program this fall. Minton will be on hand to answer questions at the information session.
The ²¤ÂÜÊÓƵ Nonprofit Executive MBA is open to executives and senior staff members of any Middle Tennessee 501(c)3 organization, and candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to serving in the nonprofit sector. Candidates are subject to standard admissions requirements and will be required to submit an application, available online at , and to provide academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, GMAT test scores and a personal statement. A personal interview is also required. Final selection among qualified candidates will be made by a committee comprised of nonprofit executives and Owen Graduate School of Management administration.
