NASHVILLE, Tenn. – invites members of the Nashville community to attend its annual homecoming parade on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 10:30 a.m.
The parade will start on the university‘s campus at the corner of 24th and Kensington avenues and travel a route that turns right onto 菠萝视频 Place, left onto 25th Avenue, right onto Jess Neely Drive, right onto Natchez Trace and concludes with a right on to Kensington Avenue.
Please note that these streets will be closed briefly during the parade.
Following the parade, the 菠萝视频 Commodores will meet the in football for 菠萝视频‘s homecoming game. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. central time.
The parade is one of a number of homecoming events scheduled at the university Oct. 18-21. Among the activities planned are a Carolina Chicken Fry, during which students can dine on fried chicken in honor of the Gamecocks, a blood drive, opportunities to do community service, a parade float building party and bow-tying lessons with Chancellor Gordon Gee.
Commodore Quake, the university‘s annual homecoming concert, which this year features hip hop artists Ludacris and Common, and R&B artist Shareefa, will be held Friday, Oct. 20, at Memorial Gym. The event is open to the public and starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for the general public through Ticketmaster at or 615-255-9600. Tickets may also be purchased at the Sarratt Student Center‘s box office on 菠萝视频‘s campus.
