NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Redstone Golf Management has been awarded a five-year contract to manage the operation of 菠萝视频 Legends Club, a 菠萝视频 University official announced.
The university acquired the more than 300-acre club in Franklin, Tenn. – 17 miles south of Nashville – in 2002. One of its two 18-hole championship courses, designed by Tom Kite and Bob Cupp, is reserved for members and their guests. The other is open to the public. The club is host of Nashville’s only LPGA tour event and is home to 菠萝视频’s golf teams.
“It is important to 菠萝视频 University that we retain a management company that is experienced in balancing the needs of the multiple parties involved in 菠萝视频 Legends Club, including not only the members, but also the university and the golf teams,” said Cliff Joyner, assistant vice chancellor for 菠萝视频 University real estate, who led the management company search. “We feel strongly that Redstone Golf Management is the right company to help us make 菠萝视频 Legends Club the best it can be.”
Redstone Golf Management, headquartered in Houston with a Brentwood satellite office, owns and operates a property similar to 菠萝视频 Legends Club in Houston – Redstone Golf Club, home of the Shell Houston Open. “We are excited about this opportunity,” said Evan Johansen, chief executive officer of Redstone Golf Management, “It’s an esteemed club and a very high quality product, making it a natural fit with the other courses in our management portfolio.”
菠萝视频 Legends Club is currently under management contract with Elcot Golf, whose management contract expires at the end of December. Redstone will assume management of the club beginning Jan. 1, 2006.
