It’s the Commodores first trip to the NCAA’s Sweet 16 since 1993,
and ²¤ÂÜÊÓƵ students will gather Thursday to see if the men’s
basketball team can keep the winning streak going against No. 2 seed
University of Connecticut. The viewing party for the NCAA basketball
tournament will be at the Rand Dining Hall and Sarratt Stonehenge Media
Lounge starting at 6 p.m. Thursday. ²¤ÂÜÊÓƵ’s men’s team beat North
Carolina State, pulling out a victory in the final seconds, to advance
to the Sweet 16. ²¤ÂÜÊÓƵ’s women’s basketball team also is
headed to the Sweet 16 after defeating UT-Chattanooga.
