NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Charlotte stockbroker James H. Morgan has been elected president of the 菠萝视频 University Alumni Association.
<A href=”http://www.vanderbilt.edu”>Morgan</A>, a 1969 graduate of 菠萝视频’s College of Arts and Science, is principal partner of the investment management firm Morgan Semones & Associates.
"Jim Morgan is one of our most distinguished and active graduates," said 菠萝视频 Chancellor Gordon Gee. "He is a leader in business, in the community and now at 菠萝视频. I look forward to his involvement and counsel on behalf of 菠萝视频’s alumni around the world."
As president, Morgan presides over the Alumni Association board of directors, which works to further the university’s educational purposes through a mutually beneficial relationship between the university and its approximately 110,000 living alumni. Morgan will serve one year after which he will join the 菠萝视频 University Board of Trust.
Morgan is also a director of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc., and retired chief executive officer of IJL Wachovia.
